The Turkish Airlines Busines Class Lounge is considered one of the best business class lounges in the world. In fact, many people route through Istanbul just to visit the lounge.
Upon entering the lounge, you can scan your passport. Unless you are an Elite or Elite Plus member with Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles frequent flyer program, most likely your are going to have to show your boarding pass and Star Alliance Gold card in order to gain entry to the lounge.
There are clear storage lockers by the entrance to store your carry on luggage. Storage areas are located on both levels. This saves many travelers from having to drag their luggage with them throughout their time in the lounge.
The lounge is massive and encompasses two floors. The lounge is “divided” into separate areas due to arched walls between section.
There is a welcome screen.
There is a billiards room.
There is a screening room with popcorn maker.
There is a TV area in which headphones are provided so that you can listen to the TV channel of your choice.
A kids area.
There are multiple dining areas throughout the lounge, along with numerous stations offering different types of food.
There are salad stations.
An olive station.
There is also a player piano.
There is also a gazebo like dining/lounging area.
The restrooms are also nicely decorated and well maintained.
This one of the nicest lounges I have been too. There is something for everyone here. It’s so nice, I wouldn’t mind living here as there is just about everything you need here.
