The Star Alliance Business Class Lounge at LAX is located on the sixth floor of the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
Upon showing our boarding pass we were quickly let into the lounge.
There is a front desk located right at the entrance of the lounge with three attendants to help show you around or answer any questions.
There is plenty of seating within the lounge, with different type of seating arrangements to help demarcate different areas of the lounge.
There is also an outside patio with plenty of seating as well as a bar area, however this was not in use during my visit. The patio is open so any rain would detract from the area.
Upon entering the buffet area this is an impressive wine rack displayed through a glass case.
The food selection was nothing too impressive but many times better than what one would find in a domestic lounge with a salad, wraps, sandwiches, cheese and crackers, chips, whole fruit, fruit salad, soup, roasted potatoes, and a chicken curry with rice dish. Dessert choices included cookies and eclairs. There is also a noodle bar with the dining area.
The lounge has six shower suites which are nicely decorated and fairly spacious. After taking a shower I didn’t notice that I did not have my watch with me and left it in the shower suite.
It wasn’t until we had boarded the plane and was ready for pushback that I noticed that my watch was missing.
The Star Alliance Business Class Lounge is an impressive space with plenty of comfortable seating, fast wi-fi, decent food, an outdoor patio and spacious shower suites.
I look forward to my next trip to the lounge, and hopefully can manage to hold onto all of my belongings.
