A recent stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Ontario-Rancho Cucamonga resulted in a pleasant surprise.
Upon check-in, I was informed that I had been upgraded to a suite.

Although only there for one night, the extra space came in handy as it allowed me to work in more comfort.
I had booked the room through a successful Best Rate Guarantee claim of $93, and chose the extra 2,000 Starpoints as my benefit rather than an extra 10% off.
Upon entering the room, there is a large living room with dining room table and seating for six. The chairs were a little worn around the edges.

The room held a large mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave.

There was a large sofa, two chairs and a coffee table.

The furniture sort of reminded me of dorm room furniture unfortunately, as it looked a little outdated.
There was a desk in the corner with ample work space, but it was located next to the air conditioner which made it loud and somewhat cold.
The bedroom was large, and contained a sitting chair in the corner.

There was also a storage/bench under the TV.

The bed was comfortable. The room also held another air conditioning unit, which was also loud and made sleeping somewhat difficult.

The bathroom was on the smaller side. It had a single sink with somewhat limited counter space.

There was a walk-in shower whose door had not been installed properly. It was misaligned and could only be opened inward. Trying to get into the shower and turn on the water required Cirque du Soleil type acrobatic skill

There were filled containers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Overall it was a pleasant stay, especially considering the great rate and suite upgrade. The room could use a refresh and fixing the shower door would also be easier on all guests.
